Gang colors in the burbs

Recently in the small Illinois High school a big fuss is about the tradition of the school t-shirt colors. the school is the oldest township High school in the state of illinois and the school colors have always been orange and blue. various sport teams at the school purchase the casual t-shirts that they mostly design. the problem has hit with the girls volleyball and soccer teams have wanted to add the colors of black and blue. the colors have raised a big concern among the administrators because those are viewed as gang related colors. 

   The Principle steven Edwards says "as an administrator of our school district, it is our responsibility to provide a wholesome and safe environment" he feels that not only are they gang colors but by adding new colors that will break the school tradition and will set a bad example of what the school is all about. 

   We think that the school should not worry about gang colors in there small community. Illinois High school is approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours away from any metropolitan area they should not worry about gang colors because who is really going to see the colors and have much to say. On the other hand the school has a long tradition of on orange and blue so the real concern should be about the school lasting tradition instead of the gang problems. If the school wants to focus on the gang colors we agree with the students when they say "why would I care about gang colors? it's all about what look cool and our fall volleyball shirts were tough."

    In conclusion Illinois High School far from any metropolitan area has raised concern about sport team members wanting to incorporate black in to the school t-shirts and administrators think that is gang colors. Parents commented ranged from anger to outright disgust    

R. Kelly Goes To trial

Opening aruments set to begin for The undisputed king of R&B, R. Kelly. Prosecutors played the sex tape at the center of R. Kelly's child pornography trial in open court Tuesday, just hours after opening statements in which they accused the R&B singer of choreographing and starring in a video.

Personally I belive that the girl lied about her age in the begging and she wanted to be with a superstar. The girl denies even being in the sex tape with R.kelly, i feel sorry that R. kelly has to go through so much with all his fame and suscess as a singer and producer.

" A grim, intent Kelly watched the whole video on a small monitor placed on the defense table, only occasionally averting his eyes. At times, the 41-year-old rocked in his chair or rested his chin in his hand."

R.kelly has come to far in his long career to be accused by some money thirsty girl that denieas even being in the tapes herself. If R.Kelly goes to jail its going to be a sad day in RnB.

There are many rappers turned actors. The most successful rapper turn actor is Will Smith. Will Smith broke in the rap game in the early 90's with the rap duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince. He became famous as a rapper producing two platinum albums and winning a Grammy for "He's the DJ, I'm the Rapper". Will Smith went on to prove his acting talents in both television and films.After the fresh prince had squandered much of his money and was in debt to the IRS help came with the hit series "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" that took him back to the top of his game. Will smith is a Phenomenal actor along with rapper he has appeared in many of the best box office hits such as bad Boys And Bad Boys 2 in 1995 After Bad Boys, things only got better for Will Smith. He starred in over a dozen films including Independence Day (1996), Men in Black (1997), Enemy of the State (1998), Ali (2001), I, Robot (2004), Hitch (2005) and the Pursuit of Happyness (2006) to name a few. He’s won 28 awards and has been nominated for 49 others including two Oscar nominations for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role for his role in Ali and in The Pursuit of Happyness. Will Smith has taken on the new role as producer producing the hit T.V show "All Of Us" starring Lisa Ray and Dewayn martin .Will smith has become an icon and an inspiration to both rappers and actors and will continue to be one of the most succesful rapper turned actor.

Rappers With Clothing LIne HOT or NOT

Rappers with clothing lines, its becoming bigger and bigger some HOT and Some NOT.

rappers such as Jay-Z, P. Diddy, 50 Cent, Russel Simmons, just to name a few.Some of the main stream rappers have different investments such as clothing lines some hot and some are not. the number one clothing line thats hot right now from a main stream rapper is Jay-Z's Roca Wear. Roca Wear has taken over the urban clothing industry and expanded it's clothing selection racking in more than annual sales over $700 million dollars so Hot or Not. The second biggest clothing line to me is Sean P-Diddy Combs line of Sean john. Sean John is another urban clothing line that expanded from a main stream artist, also making dress clothes for the coorporate brother and urban wear for the "hood" brother. I think that its great that rappers Are going into other things that intrest them such as clothing lines and alot of them are very succesful and I admire them more than the clothing lines that are not. some rappers such as russel simmins have got into the shoe game im not such a big fan but i can knock him for his hustle.

The New Dance Vs. Old Dance

Hey World, Its me again, the best ways now and days to get in the industry right now is to know what's hot and what's hot right now is to know how to dance. Every week there is a new dance video for teens to do at a party or club. The new rappers "On the Block" such as soulja Boy, the pop off boys, Vic, lil will and Dude & Dem they all have new dance hits that sound good for a minute.

The older dances such as young jock its going down was a club hit 

I think many commercial rappers come up with one hit dance songs and make a video and gain the audience of young teens that want to dance. The songs make it to number one on the charts and be a hit for about three or four weeks then falls off. I think the one hit dance wonders are a disgrace to the music industry and have manipulated the music industry to make it. its is a disgrace because there are very talented rappers today that have number one songs and albums and keep delivering album after album and its not fair that that a "soulja boy" come in and make it to number one. They have manipulated the system to get videos and record deals because the record heads want to make money and dance hits are making money now

In the club they play all of the new dance hits Such as Soulja boy and pop off boys every one wants to crank something and wipe down something and its begging to become a fashionable thing to be doing the new dance in the club. In the club people try to keep a certain image an they cant be caught doing a old dance in the club because they will look lame

So world its seems to me everyone has tapped in the fad of making dance singles and the clubs and record producers see a big dollar sign with this new trend. Personally I love to dance but i love to dance off songs that have meaning and are not one hit wonders. so basically I'm saying that the one hit dance wonders will be out sooner than later and make the space for the main stream artist such as Dream,R.Kelly,50 centjust to name a few.
