Hey World, Its me again, the best ways now and days to get in the industry right now is to know what's hot and what's hot right now is to know how to dance. Every week there is a new dance video for teens to do at a party or club. The new rappers "On the Block" such as soulja Boy, the pop off boys, Vic, lil will and Dude & Dem they all have new dance hits that sound good for a minute.
The older dances such as young jock its going down was a club hit
I think many commercial rappers come up with one hit dance songs and make a video and gain the audience of young teens that want to dance. The songs make it to number one on the charts and be a hit for about three or four weeks then falls off. I think the one hit dance wonders are a disgrace to the music industry and have manipulated the music industry to make it. its is a disgrace because there are very talented rappers today that have number one songs and albums and keep delivering album after album and its not fair that that a "soulja boy" come in and make it to number one. They have manipulated the system to get videos and record deals because the record heads want to make money and dance hits are making money now
In the club they play all of the new dance hits Such as Soulja boy and pop off boys every one wants to crank something and wipe down something and its begging to become a fashionable thing to be doing the new dance in the club. In the club people try to keep a certain image an they cant be caught doing a old dance in the club because they will look lame
So world its seems to me everyone has tapped in the fad of making dance singles and the clubs and record producers see a big dollar sign with this new trend. Personally I love to dance but i love to dance off songs that have meaning and are not one hit wonders. so basically I'm saying that the one hit dance wonders will be out sooner than later and make the space for the main stream artist such as Dream,R.Kelly,50 centjust to name a few.
